Skye Tenzin-Dolma

ISCP muse and general dogsbody

Skye, our founder’s 11 year old deerhound mix, was the inspirational force behind the ISCP, and was our muse, wise guide, general dogsbody, and the ISCP ambassador. He has welcomed many of our students at practical study days, has mentored many foster dogs and adopted senior dogs over the years, and he’s an outstanding example of the effectiveness of the science-based Sympatico methods that we teach. Skye features in four of Lisa’s books, The Heartbeat at Your Feet, Dog Training: The Essential GuideCharlie, the Dog Who Came in from the Wild, and  The ‘Supposedly’ Enlightened Person’s Guide to Raising a Dog (co-written with Kac Young).

Skye passed away peacefully on the 29th June, 2018. His physical presence is very much missed, but his legacy of love lives on. Thank you, Skye.
